Healing From Complex Trauma & PTSD/CPTSD

A journey to healing from complex trauma.

God always leads us to somewhere better.

God always leads me and my family to somewhere better. It’s happened too many times including with our son’s school, my husband’s job and I knew it would happen with a new Church we needed too.

We started going to a new Church only two weeks ago and this week they had a new Bible study starting today on a Monday – perfect timing.

This minister – has done 18 years of Biblical theology study, along with history and Greek and it shows, in the way he delivers his messages, explains a deeper clear picture of what was occurring at the time of when the particular book was written, and his messages have a depth to them I am not used to hearing.

I had already picked up on the difference in his messages, to what I had been used to hearing and now I can see why. He hasn’t just done a couple of years in Bible college.

Praise God for leading us somewhere I will learn from someone who a depth of knowledge and understanding of the Bible and it’s correct interpretation.

My doctor picked up the fact that I need to learn theology, the deeper meaning and translation of God’s word. She knows me well and knows I am not a shallow person and I need to always know the full, deeper meaning of everything and is why I am planning on Bible college next year.

So, now I have Bible study and messages in Church to think about, learn about and I can just feel this is what I need.

Praise God, his grace always so evident.

Author: Healing From Complex Trauma & PTSD/CPTSD

I am a survivor of complex and multiple trauma and abuse, who at the age of 40, began my healing journey. I am using my journey to recovery and healing, to help others, to help survivors feel less alone, validated, encouraged and to enable others to understand themselves more. Complex trauma, particularly from severe, prolonged childhood abuse, is profoundly life changing. Complex trauma produces complex adults. The journey to recovery is a painful, often lonely, emotional daily challenge and it is my aim to encourage others in their daily battle. ~ Lilly Hope Lucario
