Healing From Complex Trauma & PTSD/CPTSD

A journey to healing from complex trauma.

Pride, is one reason why seniors in a Church, cannot accept a leader is a false teacher.

Men have pride, it’s part of who they are and the Bible warns us against having pride and instead we are meant to have humility and it’s a mark of someone’s spiritual progress, as to whether they have pride, or not, whether they have humility, or not.

I have exposed a ravenous wolf, a false teacher, but those around him, can’t accept this and one reason, is pride. For many others, it’s just their ‘sheep like’ need to just ‘believe their leaders’ and fear to challenge.

The ones in senior Church positions, don’t want to have to accept that ‘they’ could not see this man for who is really is.

They don’t want to believe they were ‘blind’ to this man’s narcissism and him being a wolf in sheep’s clothing, so their pride takes over and they attack the person who exposed this instead.

They don’t want to have to accept they were so easily deceived and this admission to be a failure of theirs.

They don’t want to accept the truth, because they are more comfortable believing and living with lies, it appeals better, to their prideful natures.

Which is really sad and a true indication of their immaturity of faith and their inability to have humility and accept that God picked a woman, who isn’t able to parrot Bible verses, and used her strengths as a watchman, to expose all this.

It’s interesting as well, that God picked me, a woman, to test these prideful men on their humility, and tested their issues about women. This Church have no women in senior Church positions and believe only ‘men can preach to men’. So it is easy to see how these prideful men all enable their prideful behaviours and don’t like to be challenged, by a woman.

It takes a really secure man, with humility, to listen to a woman.

Pride really is the downfall of many good men and the delight of Satan and prideful men are used easily by Satan, who encourages their pride and they listen to the wrong voice telling them this watchman is the enemy.

Church leaders and those in senior positions – elders etc, are meant to have humility, be willing to be challenged, be willing to listen to others – including women and not ignore huge sinful issues, due to their pride.

Pride is a deeply sinful and dangerous in Church leadership and one that so easily gets used for evil and I can see that so clearly.

I am learning all the time, often by other people’s mistake, because me eyes are open to it all and I see things many miss and I think deeply about it all.

Pride being this lesson I have seen and learned the spiritual consequences of.

And if I do write a book on recovering from spiritual abuse, all this knowledge I have learned, will be part of it.

Author: Healing From Complex Trauma & PTSD/CPTSD

I am a survivor of complex and multiple trauma and abuse, who at the age of 40, began my healing journey. I am using my journey to recovery and healing, to help others, to help survivors feel less alone, validated, encouraged and to enable others to understand themselves more. Complex trauma, particularly from severe, prolonged childhood abuse, is profoundly life changing. Complex trauma produces complex adults. The journey to recovery is a painful, often lonely, emotional daily challenge and it is my aim to encourage others in their daily battle. ~ Lilly Hope Lucario
