I am seriously considering writing a book in the future on recovering and healing from spiritual abuse and I want it to be a book that takes on a watchman role.
I know I have a lot to learn in theology before I write this book, which will then be put with my own experience of spiritual abuse.
So, I am researching and tomorrow, I off to the local Christian bookstore, to buy two books I have been recommended;
‘Healing Spiritual Abuse: How to Break Free from Bad Church Experience’ Ken Blue
‘Subtle Power of Spiritual Abuse, The: Recognizing and Escaping Spiritual Manipulation and False Spiritual Authority Within the Church’ David Johnson & Jeff VanVonderen
And another book I want to read;
‘When Life and Beliefs Collide’ by Carolyn Custis James
With these books, the Bible study I am already doing through the in depth knowledge of our Church Minister who has completed 18 years of theological study, I will have enough to keep me going for a while.
Love learning more and more about our awesome creator.
I said to our Minister today, I know I will always be learning, as we will never be God, so we will never be wise enough, to which he agreed and said he would also help me with future study I am planning to do.
God is so good.
