My response to the investigation team, I didn’t send…..

Firstly, please don’t patronise me, with your response that you are saddened by my response and will pray for me.

Your prayers will be far more appropriately directed to yourselves and the Baptist Church and their very un-Godly need to preserve image and cover up complaints of abuse, ignore evidence and show no concern for the victims. Continue reading

Still grieving…..and that’s okay and needed.

The last week has been a huge rollercoaster of emotions.

My counsellor confirmed it is grieving trauma and it is healthy, needed and appropriate, due to processing the formal complaint. Continue reading

Lifestyle sermons…..or Biblical sermons? And what that will tell you.

Something I have noticed in the past, in how some Church’s don’t teach the Bible, they teach ‘their’ interpretation of how you should live your life.

They also encourage people to sit and have devotion time, reading the Bible every day, at home. But don’t have Bible study groups learning the Bible in depth.

You can’t read the Bible with any understanding, if you don’t know the theology.

And I have always known that. I’ve always known that I can sit there and read a book in the Bible, and get a shallow idea and concept of what it means, but I ‘know’ I am not ‘getting it’, to any depth. Continue reading
