Healing From Complex Trauma & PTSD/CPTSD

A journey to healing from complex trauma.

What are Christians thinking, by allowing this?

It is very easy for me to be very disillusioned by Christianity – because I am not prepared to think it is all great and view it through rose coloured glasses.

I see the good, the bad and the ugly – and the ugly is really fucking ugly.

Just read that the so called new and improved Pope – has made it criminal, for people to leak formal information about child abuse.

Leaks are often the only way child abuse is exposed and therefore ever dealt with. Because we all know how much the Catholic Church want to cover up, suppress, deny and enable child abuse.

Makes my blood boil.

And this kind of crap, is not just within the Catholic Church – so I am not Anti-Catholic – I am anti-child abusers and anti-child abuse enablers.

In fact, what I am is anti-evil.

There is so much crap that goes on within Christianity and it just badly irritates me that it continues to be allowed, ignored….

Far too many weak, sheep like people, all pretending that their ignoring this, or tolerating it, or showing their twisted version of cheap grace – is basically a load of weak crap so they don’t have to have any balls to do something about it all.

So much abuse is tolerated within Christianity, child abuse, pastors abusing the flock, spiritual abuse abusing gay people and judging people. Most all turn a blind eye….all the healthy, just, caring, compassionate Christians they are….not.

It is a breeding ground for abuse and abusers, paedophiles, narcissists, sociopaths, misogynists and the like.

And the world sees all this!

Hellooooo, is anyone willing to stand up and say this is not okay!???

What must God think, when His ‘people’ are encouraging child abuse, spiritual abuse and all the other kinds of abuse condoned and ignored.

I am a survivor of complex and multiple trauma and abuse, who at the age of 40, began my healing journey. I am using my journey to recovery and healing, to help others, to help survivors feel less alone, validated, encouraged and to enable others to understand themselves more. Complex trauma, particularly from severe, prolonged childhood abuse, is profoundly life changing. Complex trauma produces complex adults. The journey to recovery is a painful, often lonely, emotional daily challenge and it is my aim to encourage others in their daily battle. ~ Lilly Hope Lucario

  1. This is horrible 😦 I don’t even know what to say, because this makes me so angry I could actually start screaming. I am a Catholic but the Pope should use his words wisely because he has a lot of influence, and saying that, is not wise.. children are dying and it’s being covered up.

  2. Amen, Amen! I could not have said it better! It is disgusting and evil! There are far to many wolfs in sheep’s cloths!
