Suicide ideation, is part of Complex PTSD.
I think about it, far more than I admit.
It’s a painful place to live.
Suicide ideation, is part of Complex PTSD.
I think about it, far more than I admit.
It’s a painful place to live.
I am a survivor of complex and multiple trauma and abuse, who at the age of 40, began my healing journey. I am using my journey to recovery and healing, to help others, to help survivors feel less alone, validated, encouraged and to enable others to understand themselves more. Complex trauma, particularly from severe, prolonged childhood abuse, is profoundly life changing. Complex trauma produces complex adults. The journey to recovery is a painful, often lonely, emotional daily challenge and it is my aim to encourage others in their daily battle. ~ Lilly Hope Lucario

Wow. It’s so true. It’s so simple. Yet it’s confusing beyond belief. “Not *me*!” I’d say to myself. OK, yeah, if you wanna believe that… /smiles
Seriously though, yes. I know. I’m sorry you know too. Knowing is one thing but choosing to share this vulnerable piece of our lives makes it better for us and for others who wonder if it’s just them…no, it’s not. Nobody is truly ever the only one carrying such a heavy load and that is comforting and helps us all build a little strength here and there.
