Bravehearts – A community discussion invite. Child Protection – is everyone’s responsibilty!

As I want to continually educate myself – and child protection is a passion of mine I feel is deeply in need of becoming a far greater focus for the whole of society – I would like to attend this.

I also support Bravehearts and their tireless work to help make Australia, a safer place for children.

They are the opposite of ‘apathy’ about child abuse and reducing it, so I fully support them.

The problem of ego…..and why it is the opposite of Christ.

Ego is a huge issue, particularly within religion.

I’ve seen it in action, puffed up ego’s, that results in lack of humility, combined with a sense of entitlement, combined with some narcissistic, sociopathic traits and total lack of self insight – and BOOM!!!!!……….you have yourself an abusive Christian.

And these ego’s are no different to non Christian ego’s – but they use the Bible and Christ – to justify their needs to vomit up their ego and other issues – all over other Christians and non Christians.

It’s dysfunctional behaviour, cognitive distortions and poor mental health.

But, guess what – few of them – will ever accept this and you know why – their EGO – won’t let them.

Lack of self insight and lack of capacity to change – all a slice of insanity, that many have, and have no clue about.

I have to accept people do not have my courage.

I have heard every excuse under the sun, for why abusers do what they do. Bottom line, they chose to abuse.

I have heard every excuse for why people avoid me when I feel really low. Bottom line, they are all self interested.

I have heard every reason why abusers get enabled, protected, justified, condoned.

I have heard every reason why abuse gets ignored, enabled, avoided, people look the other way, refuse to help the victim.

I have heard every reason why liars lie, why abusers abuse, why manipulators manipulate etc..

I have heard every reason why so many people minimize the suffering of others, whilst dramatizing their minor daily/normal life experiences.

I have heard every excuse for apathy, egocentric needs, lack of empathy, lack of remorse, lack of honesty, lack of integrity, lack of morality, lack of spiritual wisdom, lack of any wisdom, cheap grace, why abusers end up the way they are.

What I haven’t seen a lot of – is people talking about how courageous the abuse survivors are.

What I haven’t seen a lot of – is empathy and support, for those who have/are suffering.

What I haven’t seen a lot of – is courage, inner strength, compassion, empathy. Continue reading

I wish I could turn my narc radar off sometimes. Today’s narc detection….Jeremy Clarkson

I’ve always had an uneasy feelings about some people, their attitudes, their views, even their facial expressions. My red flag alert just goes off – ping, ping, ping.

My husband loves Top Gear. I don’t care for flash cars, or the program, although it can be funny, at times, but in that sarcastic humour way, which I am aware now, is not healthy and not about health self esteem.

The main presenter of this show is Jeremy Clarkson.

Now Clarkson, is well known for;

Loving himself – huge ego
Liking sarcasm and putting people down, publicly, with no conscience, no remorse
Coming from a working class background, but hating the working classes
Hating (irrationally) anything from the working classes, like caravans
Openly hating ‘rules’, road rules, speed limits, road tolls, anti-government, anti-police, anti anything that tells him what he can’t do
Always thinking he is the best, knows more and sneering at the opinions of others, publicly
Loving expensive cars, beautiful women
Adultery, flirting
Having strops over others taking the ‘piss’ out him back
Got chucked out of school for anti-social behaviours
Getting what he wants

I could go on.

Classic narcissistic/sociopathic traits. Continue reading

Missions – pray for SEED Ministry team in Northeast India

Please pray for the SEED Ministry team
A SEED Team of six people begin another mission to Nepal, North Bengal and
Nagaland from 16 April 2014. They  conduct three nights of evangelistic and
healing meetings in East Nepal – an area that has NEVER experienced mass
Evangelistic outreach and miraculous healing.

Then they have three days and nights of ministry in Siliguri – a Pastors’ & church workers retreat (Empowerment: Working with The Holy Spirit in Miracles); and Seminar for Sunday School workers.

Finally, they take a train to Nagaland where Allan is the main Speaker for CRBC
(Council of Rengma Baptist Churches) Theological College graduation exercise.

As the Spirit of God leads, pray for:
– journey mercies as they need to travel by road and Indian train;
– spiritual covering from wiles and attacks of the enemy;
– anointing of the Holy Spirit upon every Team member as they fulfil…
