Healing From Complex Trauma & PTSD/CPTSD

A journey to healing from complex trauma.

The problem of ego…..and why it is the opposite of Christ.

Ego is a huge issue, particularly within religion.

I’ve seen it in action, puffed up ego’s, that results in lack of humility, combined with a sense of entitlement, combined with some narcissistic, sociopathic traits and total lack of self insight – and BOOM!!!!!……….you have yourself an abusive Christian.

And these ego’s are no different to non Christian ego’s – but they use the Bible and Christ – to justify their needs to vomit up their ego and other issues – all over other Christians and non Christians.

It’s dysfunctional behaviour, cognitive distortions and poor mental health.

But, guess what – few of them – will ever accept this and you know why – their EGO – won’t let them.

Lack of self insight and lack of capacity to change – all a slice of insanity, that many have, and have no clue about.

I am a survivor of complex and multiple trauma and abuse, who at the age of 40, began my healing journey. I am using my journey to recovery and healing, to help others, to help survivors feel less alone, validated, encouraged and to enable others to understand themselves more. Complex trauma, particularly from severe, prolonged childhood abuse, is profoundly life changing. Complex trauma produces complex adults. The journey to recovery is a painful, often lonely, emotional daily challenge and it is my aim to encourage others in their daily battle. ~ Lilly Hope Lucario
