Healing From Complex Trauma & PTSD/CPTSD

A journey to healing from complex trauma.

So thankful to be a good example of a real Christian – and to someone famous – Darren Hayes!!

Only in the land of cyber world, could someone famous tell me they love me!

I saw a re-tweet of Darren Hayes who had posted this pic.

So I replied, thinking it would not even be noticed by Darren Hayes…but he tweeted me back.. 🙂

Which I’m pretty amazed at! But, very thankful, to know that people understand that not all those who claim to be ‘Christians’ – are homophobic, abusive people.

I tweeted back – to which other people then tweeted about, which was great! Always very happy and thankful to explain God is pure love.

I don’t judge gay people, it’s not my job to and I wouldn’t want to, never have. I love gay people in exactly the same way as straight people.

It is what is in your heart that matters to me. And I don’t want gay people pushed away from God, or a relationship with Jesus, which way too many church/religious people do – and that is a HUGE issue to me.

There are many gay people who are kind, loving, caring people, in respectful relationships. And many who love God.

There are also some lying, abusive, homophobic, un-empathic, non compassionate, elitist, heterosexual church people, who spiritually abuse people and push people away from God, with their religiously abusive judgment.

I know who I would rather have in my life and it ain’t the latter.

I am a survivor of complex and multiple trauma and abuse, who at the age of 40, began my healing journey. I am using my journey to recovery and healing, to help others, to help survivors feel less alone, validated, encouraged and to enable others to understand themselves more. Complex trauma, particularly from severe, prolonged childhood abuse, is profoundly life changing. Complex trauma produces complex adults. The journey to recovery is a painful, often lonely, emotional daily challenge and it is my aim to encourage others in their daily battle. ~ Lilly Hope Lucario

  1. oh my god, I was IN LOVE with Darren and Savage Garden as a kid. first I was devastated he was married, and then that he was gay because it meant I had no chance haha! course at 12 yrs old I thought I had one! Maybe I’ll try tweeting him,god that would make my day!

  2. It’s funny, I have had a few people now, be all “WOW” “OMG” Darren Hayes tweeted you!! One even joked about being ‘well jealous’ – in a nice, jokey way.

I know that weird feeling when a celebrity interacts with ‘us’ – but Darren Hayes is a person, just like the rest of us, with emotions, feelings and obviously believes in God – for which I am so thankful for.

Every person matters, counts, whether famous, non famous, straight, gay, bisexual whatever and I love people for their hearts. And I know Jesus does too.

  3. Dumb billboard.
Show me a verse in the bible where God said he hated homosexuals, or criminals, or any sinner.

Now show me a verse where is says a homosexual or ANY sinner will go to heaven.

I can show you a verse or two where is says a homosexual WILL NOT enter the kindowm of heaven, and where is called and abomination (lookup abomination in the dictioanary)

    PS.
I do not hate homossexuals and I dont want anyone to go to hell.
