Healing From Complex Trauma & PTSD/CPTSD

A journey to healing from complex trauma.

Well, I have definitely hit my limit of intellectual processing… :)

Yesterday at my counselling session, we discussed Transactional Analysis psychology and C.S. Lewis’ book – The Screwtape Letters.

Oh boy….I’ve only researched and read up a little about each and I already feel like my head is going to explode!

If I was a prideful person, I could blame this on my poor PTSD brain…

But, I am honest in saying….I have reached my limit of intellectually struggling to take it all in!

Going to need to take this slowly methinks.

Either that, or I need someone to explain it all to me.

Maybe I should take it a little easier in starting to read C.S.Lewis’ work……

By reading something a little more in my level…

The Lion The Witch & The Wardrobe !

I am a survivor of complex and multiple trauma and abuse, who at the age of 40, began my healing journey. I am using my journey to recovery and healing, to help others, to help survivors feel less alone, validated, encouraged and to enable others to understand themselves more. Complex trauma, particularly from severe, prolonged childhood abuse, is profoundly life changing. Complex trauma produces complex adults. The journey to recovery is a painful, often lonely, emotional daily challenge and it is my aim to encourage others in their daily battle. ~ Lilly Hope Lucario

  1. I did the TA101 course a few years ago, Interesting but heavy going. It can explain childhood trauma and how we deal with it. Claude Steiner has a good website based on TA. I like the story of the warm fuzzy tale. 🙂
