I can’t do any of this anymore.
I’ve nothing left to give to others.
I’ve nothing left for myself.
I can’t do any of this anymore.
I’ve nothing left to give to others.
I’ve nothing left for myself.
I am a survivor of complex and multiple trauma and abuse, who at the age of 40, began my healing journey. I am using my journey to recovery and healing, to help others, to help survivors feel less alone, validated, encouraged and to enable others to understand themselves more. Complex trauma, particularly from severe, prolonged childhood abuse, is profoundly life changing. Complex trauma produces complex adults. The journey to recovery is a painful, often lonely, emotional daily challenge and it is my aim to encourage others in their daily battle. ~ Lilly Hope Lucario

I support you and think self care is super, super important. I can’t imagine doing all you are doing for others while dealing with so so much yourself. I always think of being in the airplane and hearing, “put your oxygen mask on first before assisting the person next to you” and I think that is a really good point when applied to this sort of work too. I hope you get to feeling better soon and just know you have a lot of love and support coming your way.
