Author: Healing From Complex Trauma & PTSD/CPTSD

I am a survivor of complex and multiple trauma and abuse, who at the age of 40, began my healing journey. I am using my journey to recovery and healing, to help others, to help survivors feel less alone, validated, encouraged and to enable others to understand themselves more. Complex trauma, particularly from severe, prolonged childhood abuse, is profoundly life changing. Complex trauma produces complex adults. The journey to recovery is a painful, often lonely, emotional daily challenge and it is my aim to encourage others in their daily battle. ~ Lilly Hope Lucario

  1. I can do this also. I’ve also found that if I voice what I see below the surface, it either scares others, cause it ends up true or it makes them mad. But I’ve also found it’s helped me avoid bad situations or people.

    • I think this level of intuition and people reading skills, does scare people. It makes them uncomfortable, so I no longer tell anyone new around me, of my capacity to do this.

I always know the ones who are most uncomfortable are the ones with the most they are hiding within, either consciously or unconsciously.

There is a famous Carl Jung quote, which is one of my all time favourite quotes…

“There is no coming to consciousness without pain. People will do anything, no matter how absurd, in order to avoid facing their own Soul. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.”

People will often avoid those who can see into their soul. Or they will attack them. I have learned this is all their own issues and not to personalise their issues.

It does help us to keep away from unhealthy, toxic issues.

Something I now trust, is my intuition.
