I’ve never liked photos of myself. But I’m content now, with how God created me. I know what’s on the inside matters, not what’s on the outside.
These are recent pics and I noticed how much more peaceful my face is now.
That peace coming from the inside, reflected out.

I am a survivor of complex and multiple trauma and abuse, who at the age of 40, began my healing journey.
I am using my journey to recovery and healing, to help others, to help survivors feel less alone, validated, encouraged and to enable others to understand themselves more.
Complex trauma, particularly from severe, prolonged childhood abuse, is profoundly life changing.
Complex trauma produces complex adults.
The journey to recovery is a painful, often lonely, emotional daily challenge and it is my aim to encourage others in their daily battle.

It is amazing how well we know each other due to such similar issues in childhood.
I am literally itching to write something else about your comments ….. but I won’t!!!
I WILL stick to just accepting a compliment 🙂
