Healing From Complex Trauma & PTSD/CPTSD

A journey to healing from complex trauma.

“The truth is I never bought into your bullshit, when you would pay tribute to me” Lana Del Rey

I love Lana’s voice, her lyrics are always amazing.

The ‘high by the beach’, to me is not about drugs, which many may assume it is. It’s about peace of mind.

The gun part, for me is about removing the negative, abusive people, the dishonest, unhealthy people who need to not be in my life. And I have.

Lana is the queen of co-dependency relationship issues, and this is a challenge of that and a recognition of not needing this.

I realise I never truly bought into anyone’s bullshit. I always saw the red flags, the person behind the mask. Now, I trust my discernment and vigilance.

Author: Healing From Complex Trauma & PTSD/CPTSD

I am a survivor of complex and multiple trauma and abuse, who at the age of 40, began my healing journey. I am using my journey to recovery and healing, to help others, to help survivors feel less alone, validated, encouraged and to enable others to understand themselves more. Complex trauma, particularly from severe, prolonged childhood abuse, is profoundly life changing. Complex trauma produces complex adults. The journey to recovery is a painful, often lonely, emotional daily challenge and it is my aim to encourage others in their daily battle.
