From personal loss to phantom diseases, The Empathy Exams is a bold and brilliant collection; winner of the Graywolf Press Nonfiction Prize.
This book is recommended, as an intelligent read about empathy. It has mixed reviews, so it will be interesting to see if the minority of negative reviews, are valid. Or if they are simply due to empathy being uncommon and not understood by those who don’t understand it.
I am always searching for intelligent writing and views, on subjects I am interested in. I realise knowledge, academia, knowing the Bible. IQ etc…. all mean little, when empathy and wisdom are not applied.
