A journey to healing from complex trauma.

Thinking about all the acknowledgements for my book.

When my book is written, I will be including a section of all the acknowledgments I will be making and how much gratitude I have.

The list, will be…

My counsellor/doctor

My husband

Pete Walker

Many other professionals who support my website/blog/social media

All the many survivors of complex trauma who support me and share their journey’s with me.

All the authors of books I have read and absorbed that have helped me learn all about complex trauma.

My friends who have stuck by be, through my worst times.

All those who have taught me who God truly is and helped my passion to find out the true meaning of God’s word, heart and deep perfect love.

And most of all – Jesus/God.

I feel really emotional even thinking of this list of acknowledgements and people I have to give deep thankfulness and gratitude to. Tears.

I could not have done this, without them all.

I am truly blessed.

May I not ever forget that.

Author: Healing From Complex Trauma & PTSD/CPTSD

I am a survivor of complex and multiple trauma and abuse, who at the age of 40, began my healing journey. I am using my journey to recovery and healing, to help others, to help survivors feel less alone, validated, encouraged and to enable others to understand themselves more. Complex trauma, particularly from severe, prolonged childhood abuse, is profoundly life changing. Complex trauma produces complex adults. The journey to recovery is a painful, often lonely, emotional daily challenge and it is my aim to encourage others in their daily battle.
