Healing From Complex Trauma & PTSD/CPTSD

A journey to healing from complex trauma.

Great company and coffee.

Enjoyed another morning with some healthy, mature women I now have friendships with. It is lovely to spend time, with like minded friends.

I’ve noted their healthy boundaries, their mature attitudes. How they dislike chaos and drama and stay away from it. And they have been so welcoming and friendly with me.

We chatted, whilst drinking coffee at a place I’ve not to before. It was a nice relaxed atmosphere.

The company and coffee were both great🙂

After the coffee, I was invited to check out the shop one of the women works at. Picked up a really nice shirt at a very good price.

Such a lovely, relaxed, yet fun morning.

I am really enjoying building these friendships.

I am a survivor of complex and multiple trauma and abuse, who at the age of 40, began my healing journey. I am using my journey to recovery and healing, to help others, to help survivors feel less alone, validated, encouraged and to enable others to understand themselves more. Complex trauma, particularly from severe, prolonged childhood abuse, is profoundly life changing. Complex trauma produces complex adults. The journey to recovery is a painful, often lonely, emotional daily challenge and it is my aim to encourage others in their daily battle.
