I am a survivor of complex and multiple trauma and abuse, who at the age of 40, began my healing journey. I am using my journey to recovery and healing, to help others, to help survivors feel less alone, validated, encouraged and to enable others to understand themselves more. Complex trauma, particularly from severe, prolonged childhood abuse, is profoundly life changing. Complex trauma produces complex adults. The journey to recovery is a painful, often lonely, emotional daily challenge and it is my aim to encourage others in their daily battle. ~ Lilly Hope Lucario

  1. I understand this feeling all too well:( Hugs.

    • I’m really sorry you feel this way too. It isn’t something I would want anyone to feel and understand.
I’m aware suicide ideation, that feeling of just wishing I could go to sleep and never wake up, is something many complex trauma survivors feel and go through.
When everything overwhelms me, I shut down and wish I could end it the pain. And I’ve been feeling this way since being a teenager, due to the pain that has been going on since I can ever remember.
The only good that comes from sharing this, is it validates how others are feeling, and that we are not alone in this.
And most people will never understand how this feels, so only those who endure it, understand.
      Hugs to you too.
      I hope you are okay.
      ❤ ❤
