Author: Healing From Complex Trauma & PTSD/CPTSD
I am a survivor of complex and multiple trauma and abuse, who at the age of 40, began my healing journey. I am using my journey to recovery and healing, to help others, to help survivors feel less alone, validated, encouraged and to enable others to understand themselves more. Complex trauma, particularly from severe, prolonged childhood abuse, is profoundly life changing. Complex trauma produces complex adults. The journey to recovery is a painful, often lonely, emotional daily challenge and it is my aim to encourage others in their daily battle. ~ Lilly Hope Lucario

Know the feeling.

Both emotional and physical pain. Hang in there darling.
I’m dealing with both right now. It makes life difficult. But I keep soldiering on. The main thing that keeps me going is knowing how much the rest my family would hurt if I suicided. Having a combination of ME/CFS and complex PTSD sucks.

I really feel for anyone who feels this way. This complex trauma journey, is very hard and a journey no-one should ever have to deal with.
It is important to remember, this is way out of the average life experiences people endure, and we are so brave to have survived and to keep going each day.
I’m forcing myself to listen to the advice I give to others… self care, self compassion, reach out for help when overwhelmed.
I’m hoping this helps people in some way. Because I have empathy for how hard this is.
