Standing up for yourself, speaking about the abuse you've endured, does not make you the problem.
It makes you someone who is refusing to be silenced.
It makes you someone who knows your self worth.
It makes you someone who refuses to be controlled by someone who made choices to abuse you.
It takes courage.
The abuser has a vested and entirely selfish interest in you remaining silent.
They will act the victim, victim blame, lie, deny, get angry, start a smear campaign etc.
But, if the survivor wants to speak up - they can.
And that is not wrong in any form.
