I am a survivor of complex and multiple trauma and abuse, who at the age of 40, began my healing journey. I am using my journey to recovery and healing, to help others, to help survivors feel less alone, validated, encouraged and to enable others to understand themselves more. Complex trauma, particularly from severe, prolonged childhood abuse, is profoundly life changing. Complex trauma produces complex adults. The journey to recovery is a painful, often lonely, emotional daily challenge and it is my aim to encourage others in their daily battle.

  1. Hi lily, I asked you a question the other day, and you did not respond . If I offended you in Any way I apologize.

  2. since I respect you …I wanted your opinion…I was going to a therapist , and we were discussing my son…I told her I was unaware when he was in grade school of the verbal interactions that were occurring with my e husband. I was unaware of the hurtful things that were said to my son. The therapist said that I was” emotionally retarded ” do you think that is a strange thing to say to a person….emotionally retarded?

  3. Lily, you have saved my sanity many times
