Healing From Complex Trauma & PTSD/CPTSD

A journey to healing from complex trauma.

My garden is my space for tranquillity and healing. I find surrounding myself with beauty – helps lift my mood and gives me something healthy to focus on.

I truly cherish the time I spend alone in my gardens. It has been a space for inner child healing, for something to focus on for the future, and just a haven of safety.

I am a survivor of complex and multiple trauma and abuse, who at the age of 40, began my healing journey. I am using my journey to recovery and healing, to help others, to help survivors feel less alone, validated, encouraged and to enable others to understand themselves more. Complex trauma, particularly from severe, prolonged childhood abuse, is profoundly life changing. Complex trauma produces complex adults. The journey to recovery is a painful, often lonely, emotional daily challenge and it is my aim to encourage others in their daily battle.

HI ,looks like a great place to relax ,be peaceful ,happy and feel safe.i like the birdhouses. i have a garden and love it.i am disabled and spend much of my time in bed and got a birdfeeder outside my window.i never understood the fascination before but it is so precious and sweet to watch and hear these birds a few feet from your face. The little things in life …

  4. That’s beautiful. I don’t have my own garden unfortunately, which is sad because I LOVE nature. But I’m going to be buying myself a plant for my room. At least that’s smomething. 🙂
