Healing From Complex Trauma & PTSD/CPTSD

A journey to healing from complex trauma.

I always feel so sad when I see people I did have respect for, promoting harmful attitudes

I truly know how alone I am in this world.

I see so many harmful attitudes and behaviours and I hate it. I hate seeing it, knowing the harm it causes. I hate knowing people are suffering because of it all.

I have to remove people from my life. People I once respected, but see they are not as healthy, or insightful as I had hoped they were. My integrity to truth, is too developed to tolerate that which I know causes harm.

People promoting victim blaming, victim shaming, and shame shifting, are everywhere. In many forms – particularly with regard to religion and new age BS.

It makes me so sad.

I truly know, I am alone.

Author: Healing From Complex Trauma & PTSD/CPTSD

I am a survivor of complex and multiple trauma and abuse, who at the age of 40, began my healing journey. I am using my journey to recovery and healing, to help others, to help survivors feel less alone, validated, encouraged and to enable others to understand themselves more. Complex trauma, particularly from severe, prolonged childhood abuse, is profoundly life changing. Complex trauma produces complex adults. The journey to recovery is a painful, often lonely, emotional daily challenge and it is my aim to encourage others in their daily battle. ~ Lilly Hope Lucario

  1. I feel kinda foolish for blurting out I love you Lily. Because I know we don’t really know one another, but as I read your words I teared up, and I want to tell you I love your blog, insight, wisdom, how you call a spade a spade, how you have modeled for me that it isn’t arrogant to accept and enjoy sincere compliments. You truly are a breath of fresh air & I hope you will one day find a couple of safe & wonderful friends.
