Healing From Complex Trauma & PTSD/CPTSD

A journey to healing from complex trauma.

So glad to see Jeff Brown understands Eckhart Tolle is harmful, not helpful.

I often feel like an alien on this planet. I see and understand things most people don’t.

I am always so glad to read Jeff Brown’s posts and comments.

Today I saw this comment from Jeff, in response to someone on his page commenting about Eckhart Tolle.

Thank God for people like Jeff Brown. Thank God he also has the discernment to know fake and false ‘teachers’.

Jeff makes me feel like I am not an alien. I am not totally alone. There are souls out there, who see and understand human emotions and human behaviour – on a much deeper level. As I do.

For that I am truly so thankful.

Author: Healing From Complex Trauma & PTSD/CPTSD

I am a survivor of complex and multiple trauma and abuse, who at the age of 40, began my healing journey. I am using my journey to recovery and healing, to help others, to help survivors feel less alone, validated, encouraged and to enable others to understand themselves more. Complex trauma, particularly from severe, prolonged childhood abuse, is profoundly life changing. Complex trauma produces complex adults. The journey to recovery is a painful, often lonely, emotional daily challenge and it is my aim to encourage others in their daily battle. ~ Lilly Hope Lucario

  1. I think I first saw Tolle on Oprah and I immediately felt he was very creepy. He seemed like a Zombie.

Then I read the first few chapters of his book and it was a disjointed jumble of information that had no connection to reality and basically was about how to be a zombie.

You’re so right Lilly, those of us who were exposed to disordered people at a very early age can now spot these people right away.

  2. So glad to hear this , I agree with you both and love Jeff Brown. My initial response to Tolle was one of creepiness too and it get so frustrating whenever someone recommends one of his books to me!!

    • Yes I find Tolle and Depak Chopra – to be very creepy men. They make me shudder and are the sort of men I was cringe at having to be anywhere near.

I have learned to trust my discernment and judgement and when it comes to the creep factor – I definitely trust my judgment.

  3. Thank you. I’ve been trying to find this thread on Jeff’s page – can you remember when it was?
