Author: Healing From Complex Trauma & PTSD/CPTSD
I am a survivor of complex and multiple trauma and abuse, who at the age of 40, began my healing journey. I am using my journey to recovery and healing, to help others, to help survivors feel less alone, validated, encouraged and to enable others to understand themselves more. Complex trauma, particularly from severe, prolonged childhood abuse, is profoundly life changing. Complex trauma produces complex adults. The journey to recovery is a painful, often lonely, emotional daily challenge and it is my aim to encourage others in their daily battle. ~ Lilly Hope Lucario

I’ve been realizing and dealing with all the ways I was intentionally and deliberately betrayed by my own mother.
She has betrayed, exploited, used, and lied to all of her children.
She is a hideous deceitful person.
When a mother deliberately chooses to betray and destroy her own child that causes a core wound that cannot be healed.
When a mother is mentally ill or suffering with the disease of drug or alcohol addiction it’s extremely painful for her children.
But it’s a particular kind of evil when a mother who is not mentally ill or an addict intentionally and consciously sets out to destroy her own child.

Intense photo. I know that posture very well. Grateful it is a part of my past now.
