Healing From Complex Trauma & PTSD/CPTSD

A journey to healing from complex trauma.

So thankful to receive another award!

I am very blessed, to receive my 22nd blog award. I always hope my blog helps people, as I know how hard this journey is.

Thank you to Gentle Kindness (http://gentlementalannie.com/2016/01/24/awards/(, for nominating me ❀

Healthy boundaries here, as well as on social media.

Healthy boundaries, are needed on social media. As I learned from considerable experience. A lack of boundaries, leaves the door open for unhealthy people.

Healthy boundaries, are also needed on blogs. For the same reasons.

Blogs are not open season for people to be disrespectful. Bloggers should not be expected to keep explaining themselves, or tolerating trolling, no matter how manipulative, or covert the trolling.

I respect other bloggers, and I expect that respect in return.

Blog views now over 200,000! In only 15 months!

I am continually amazed at how many people read my blog!

It’s funny to look back at when I set it up and what I thought would happen. I never assumed so many people would read it.

I am thankful to be able to share my journey, so people feel less alone, to educate people and to contribute in the capacity I have, to make a little ripple that helps others.

I love writing and I know how important it is, to be a real, raw, honest, courageous voice, in world that wants to increasingly ignore, minimize, enable abuse and hurt, invalidate and re-victimise abuse survivors over and over.

I am thankful I can do my small part and share all I learn as I progress through this journey.

And I praise God for blessing me, to bless others.

Stats, showing over 200,000 total views and nearly 1000, just today so far.

Blessed, to be nominated for another award. Thank you! :)

Pen of the Sheep

I have nominated you for the Versatile bloggers award! http://versatilebloggeraward.wordpress.com/

– You don’t have to accept but should you choose to this is what you need to do.
-Thank the person who gave you this award. That’s common courtesy.
Include a link to their blog. That’s also common courtesy β€” if you can figure out how to do it.
– Next, select 15 blogs/bloggers that you’ve recently discovered or follow regularly. ( I would
add, pick blogs or bloggers that are excellent!)
– Nominate those 15 bloggers for the Versatile Blogger Award
– Finally, tell the person who nominated you 7 things about yourself.

Good Luck! God bless!

Thank you so much Pen of the Sheep!! I feel very blessed! ❀ ❀

150,000 views on this blog now – okay time for WordPress to start paying me.

Thank you to everyone who supports me, in my writing here on this blog πŸ™‚ ❀

150,000, is a lot for a blog that talks about taboo stuff.

And for a blog that is only just over 12 months old.

Averaging about 800 views, per day.

I think I will add that advertisement thingy (I cannot remember what it's called), where WordPress can start paying for all the advertising they are doing on my blog.

I can use any proceeds, to pay for publishing my first book πŸ™‚

Over 140,000 views on this blog now…

This blog is now a year old πŸ™‚

When I started it, I would never have believed it would be viewed as much as it is.

Having been told most of my life, I am worthless, who would want to read about my life, my thoughts???

No-one surely…

Today, I will take it as a compliment and a testimony to my thoughts being worthy of reading after all, that so many choose to read my blog.

I cannot deny that the traffic on my blog, means some people do like what I write.

A huge thank you to everyone who has read any blogs and to all who have supported my blog, offered words of comfort and support, read all my many emotions, all my yucky trauma stuff and been so kind about it.

I truly appreciate, thank and value you all!

And a big fat raspberry πŸ˜› – to all those who made me feel worthless.

“Your blog is like a living journal”

I had a really good appointment with my doctor/counsellor today, went through lots of issues I have been having with online stalker/paedophile harassment, plus other issues.

Lots of talk about the things I am doing well/better at and what still needs work on – to have more ‘balance’. Balance and I are still not good friends, but getting there lol πŸ™‚

One thing that was said, is that my very honest, very raw blog and my posts on my Facebook page – are like “my living journal”. I live my healing journey out loud.

And I share it, so others know they are not alone. Because I know how deeply painful ‘alone’ feels.

I know what terror, fear, severe abuse, all are like over long periods of time.

I know that compassion, empathy are needed.

I know how painfully hard this journey can be. Continue reading

One Year Of Blogging…..From Silence & Suppression – To The Dam Walls Breaking.

Well, I went from 40 years of silence. Silence, suppression, oppression, repression, avoidance, denial..

Then my breakdown in 2012. Then everything suppressed – came gushing out. And it hasn’t stopped gushing.

Started blogging in April 2013, and it’s been a year.

Over 1000 blogs.

As per right now 111,872 hits on my blog, which still amazes me, that the content of my mind, would be of interest.

From no-one ever listening, or wanting to hear me…..to more interest than I really understand. It still bewilders me.

Happy 1 Year Anniversary to me!
