The therapeutic benefits of growing beautiful plants ~ Lilly Hope Lucario

I choose to surround myself with beautiful flowers and plants. Then I always have something lovely in my life to focus on. I have something I enjoy to look forward to doing and feel I have lovingly nurtured.

Every day, I sit outside, with a cup of coffee or tea, and see everything beautiful I have created.

Pictures from my healing garden ~ Lilly Hope Lucario

My garden is my space for tranquillity and healing. I find surrounding myself with beauty – helps lift my mood and gives me something healthy to focus on.

I truly cherish the time I spend alone in my gardens. It has been a space for inner child healing, for something to focus on for the future, and just a haven of safety.

Pics from around the garden in the beautiful Winter sunshine :)

Gardening is part of my healing journey. It is a welcome distraction from the painful trauma processing. It is grounding and helps with mindfulness.

It brings me many moments of joy.

When you are surrounded by beauty, you always have some joy in your life.

Winter pics, around my garden ~ Lilly Hope Lucario

Gardening is one of my healing gifts. It is my reminder that beauty is all around us, and I can enjoy it every day. It became a way for me to be creative and then be able to delight in everything I grow.

Yesterday, I collated 40 blogs, ready for my book and wrote the first draft chapter. It was emotionally draining and I knew I needed a self care day, today.

My gardens provided that tranquil and beautiful space, I needed.

My garden soothes my soul

I love seeing my gardens grow. I started off with a blank canvas, as there were very few plants in the gardens. It was pretty much grass and very little else.

Now, my gardens are blooming with beautiful plants and flowers.

I love my flowering arch and my beautiful geraniums cascading down on my little fairy garden deck.
