Healing From Complex Trauma & PTSD/CPTSD

A journey to healing from complex trauma.

So Abbott didn’t even make it to the next election…. not suprised.

He might have stopped the boats, but he couldn’t stop the votes….

I’ve made it clear in previous blogs what my views on Abbott are.

He is a slime ball and he gives me the creeps. And he has done since before he was PM. I know to trust my instincts and see patterns of behaviours and the real motivations behind them.

It also bothers me greatly when a man like him, pretends to be a Christian and flaunts his religious views, giving a terrible view to a whole country of what a Christian is. He does not, in any way represent true Christians. Many church people yes, but there is a huge difference between being a Christian and being a church person.

He’s a pathological liar and narcissistic. His latest show of racism, in his laughing at Dutton’s racist joke, is a the perfect show of who he truly is.

I’m not in the slightest bit surprised that more than half of his own party wanted him out. More half of the rest of the country want him gone. The only people who don’t, are those as narcissistic, elitist, misogynistic, homophobic and racist as he is. Continue reading

Scott Morrison in charge of welfare…….’Stop The Bludgers’…..oh God help us!

I hate politics, I really do.

But, you can’t avoid it all, because it affects your life.

Scott Morrison wants to ‘Stop the Bludgers’………we know what that means…….’everyone’ will be affected, not just the bludgers.

I claim Disability Support Pension……..which I had to fight for, prior to Morrison being in charge….

I wonder if he’ll get confused and just ship all us bludgers off to Manus, or Nauru????

Shall I just book my flight now….?

Hopefully anything he proposes that affects everyone, genuine people, as well as bludgers……will not get passed and get shelved, like some of the other ‘lower income discrimination’ politics, like the education reforms…

This is people ‘leading’ the country. Bizarre…..I just shake my head in disbelief….often.

What does it say about humanity, when ‘this’ is leading the country?

I saw the dark triad traits that are so blatantly obvious to me, well before the pre-election lies were being told.

It just goes to show how easily manipulated people are.

How people will believe whatever they want…….to serve themselves.

And even now……there will be so many right wingers, all steadfastly holding onto believing Abbott is a healthy man, doing good.

*shakes head in disbelief.

I have a lot of my own stuff to work on, but I have insight into that and the courage to accept it, own it, deal with it.

Discernment into detecting dark triad traits, is a skill of mine.

It has happened and been proven correct, too many times over.

Apparently, I am supposed to ignore this and ‘look for the good’ in people like Abbott.

Is that wise?

Tony Abbott is haunted by his past self

Posted Tue at 4:32pmTue 2 Dec 2014, 4:32pm

Tony Abbott’s pursuit of Julia Gillard over broken promises set the benchmark for his own rule, applying a strait-jacket to each and every commitment he was to make, write Peter Lewis and Jackie Woods.

In an effort to haul his Government into dry-dock to clear the barnacles, Prime Minister Tony Abbott has exposed some fundamental structural flaws with his ship of state.

While the pretence of this week’s marathon press conference was to draw a line through a ‘ragged’ week, the reality is it has been a ragged year and a bit since the federal election.

The reason for these problems, highlighted in this week’s Essential Report, comes down to three key elements: the Coalition’s fundamentally negative election agenda, its incessant attack on Labor’s lies, and the construction of its first federal budget.

And the problem for the Prime Minister is that these are not discrete issues to be managed – they are flaws that feed into each other. Worse still, each of the flaws were incubated in opposition and have come back to haunt the government in power.

First, the Government’s agenda. Despite the Prime Minister being a self-styled conviction politician, voters don’t really seem to be sure what the conviction is. Tony Abbott rates poorly on vision, trust and being in touch with ordinary people.

Behind this confusion is the problem that Tony Abbott’s vision has been a negative one – articulated in opposition as stopping the boats, cutting the carbon and mining taxes, and reining in the debt.

There is no doubting the Coalition was successful in elevating these issues into vote-changers. It is also true that on boats and taxes at least, the government has delivered on those promises.

But in all three instances, the Coalition in opposition created problems that didn’t really have a significant impact on the lives of voters or the future of the nation: stopping asylum seekers did not get cars off the road, cutting the carbon tax has not significantly driven prices down, the mining tax was not collecting money anyway.

All three issues were symbolic issues – successfully transformed into matters of national import by the Opposition, but issues that have no bearing on the day-to-day lives of voters.

The second flaw was the way Tony Abbott ran on trust and the truth, a tried tactic in opposition, but one that this opposition leader evolved into political art.

Julia Gillard conceded she had changed her position on carbon pricing in the following terms: “Yes, I did say that and circumstances have changed.”

Abbott and his media cheer squad were unrelenting in response.

The PM was “Ju-liar” and the issue of dealing with the crisis of global warming was degraded into an issue of trust in Government.

But in setting these ground rules, the PM was also establishing the benchmark for his own rule, applying a strait-jacket to each and every commitment he was to make.

Yes, Tony Abbott is a chronic and habitual liar…amongst many other dark traits.

I try to stay away from politics, but it is pretty impossible to, or for me to not be annoyed, concerned and worried about a country I live in, being led by a man, with clear personality disorder traits….the dark triad traits.

Tony Abbott is a pathological liar, a hypocrite, not genuine, lacks empathy, lacks remorse, lacks conscience, wants further class divides, does not care at all for the lower income earners in society and cares only for the middle and upper classes.

And this is all so blatantly obvious to me, and many with psychology understanding.

I am glad to see some of his own back benchers are not okay with what he is doing and I am thankful to see someone like Jason Clare call Abbott out on this.

I hope the rest of the country realise what Abbott has done……..manipulated everyone into voting, with so many pre-election lies….which he knew he would never keep to. So devious and yes many politicians do this to a certain extent…..but Abbott is beyond in his dark triad trait behaviours.

This kind of pathological lying and all his other evident issues, are those of a psychopathic mind/personality.

And yes, he may seem lovely to his family and his friends……….they always are when they need to be and have a reason to appear to be nice. When they gain something from being nice…..they will be. When they know they need their family on side, for their image….they will do what is necessary to ensure that. But, it is all self serving.

They are that manipulative and so many fall for this.

Of course, many who have a reason to continue voting for him, due to themselves being middle/upper class, or have financial gain/reason to vote for the politics of this government…..will continue…..ignoring all this other ‘stuff’…..selectively choosing what they see, believe.

If there is one thing I have learned in life………99% of people will believe what they want to believe for their own selfish needs….not what is needed for the greater good.

I can’t think of anywhere worse to be right now, than at the G20.

All those psychopathic and narcissistic politicians and world leaders….all congregated in one contained area.

I would rather go clean public toilets.

Obama, Abbott and many more, have all been identified by many psychologists, as having very high levels of psychopath/narcissistic traits. Most politicians do. It goes with the territory And anyone with any psychology understanding and insight into humanity, and discernment will know and see this.

But, so many people don’t know this…and it is always interesting to watch who is drawn to them. People who are fascinated with their power and glory, people with similar traits – identifying with these world leaders.

*shudders more.

It certainly helps validate my suspicions about certain people. People I can see so clearly have no self insight into who they truly are inside and what their real motivations in life, are. No awareness of how egocentric, egotistic, and ‘all about me’ – they are. Pretend to be helping others (like politicians do) – but really it is all about themselves, their glory, their success, their desire to be in the limelight.

I can always spot these types. My narc/sociopath/psychopath radar is well skilled.

People’s red flags I can spot, often become validated as my discernment watches them over time.

It shows the hypocrisy, that Abbott even turned up at the Gough Memorial.

Abbott’s refusal to applaud Blanchett was not a transformative experience of shame, but rather an arrogant display of his political position and power. Flanked by like-minded non-clappers, his lack of applause signalled that, as a politician, he is staunchly against the Australia Council, Medicare, equal pay and no doubt the extra ordinary list of other social policies that Noel Pearson listed later in the service too.

The real tragedy of the event is not the death of Gough, but that those “politely booing” all that he represented actually have the power today. Abbott and his men actually sat there and refused to applaud because they do not want to celebrate his legacy. They are in the middle of creating their own legacy by undoing his. Not clapping at the Whitlam memorial was them dancing on his grave.

Thank you for your wisdom Cate Blanchett – Tertiary Education should be free.

Cate Blanchett was invited to speak at Gough Whitlam’s memorial service at Sydney Town Hall earlier today. If the thinking was that she’d be a harmless, crowd-pleasing celebrity guest, old m8 Cate didn’t get the memo; she came out swinging but good.

Right off the bat, she highlighted free education and healthcare as two of the things she wouldn’t have succeeded without, which most of the crowd loved and made for some pretty fantastic shots of various government ministers looking deeply unimpressed.

“When I heard that Gough Whitlam had died, I was filled with an inordinate sadness, a great sorrow.

“The loss I felt came down to something very deep and very simple: I am the beneficiary of free tertiary education.

“When I went to university, I could explore different courses and engage with the student union in extra-curricular activities. It was through that that I discovered acting.

“I am the beneficiary of good, free healthcare that meant that the little I earned after tax and rent could go towards seeing shows, bands, and living inside my generation’s expression.

“I am the product of an Australia that engages with the globe, and engages honestly with its history and its Indigenous peoples.

“I am a small part of Australia’s coming of age, and so many of those initiatives were enacted when I was three.

Tony Abbott’s whole row just kind of sat awkwardly during that bit while everyone else clapped. It was great.

I doubt Sir Tony listened, or could even appreciate the wisdom Cate was speaking.

Those who are so needy for there to be class division, like too many middle class people ‘need’ – won’t care.

There are counties in Europe who have free tertiary education – and their economies are flourishing. Far more wise in their wisdom and social/emotionalintelligence/political development.

Glad to see validation. A psychologist with the same insight as I have, into Abbott and pals.

The latest revelations about the Abbott Government have led psychologist Lyn Bender to wonder: is Prime Minister Tony Abbott incapable of human feeling?

THE psychopath may be smart even highly intelligent, but lacks empathy and is a chronic manipulator.

He is morally bankrupt due to this lack of empathy and narcissism. What he doesn’t feel, he mimics to further his own ends.

The psychopath or sociopath is careless of others feelings, exhibits no guilt or remorse, lies compulsively and acts impulsively with little regard for the consequences of those actions.

Grandiosity inflates a sense of getting away with anything.

The focus is never on reparation — but on escaping any responsibility for the harm inflicted on others.

The drive is essentially narcissistic, even if it is paraded as altruistic.

The psychopath may become enraged at accusations, and aggressive and defensive, even if those accusations are grounded in fact.

Behaviours and responses that appear to contradict the lack of empathy are, in fact, part of manipulating others to further the psychopath’s own ends. The actions are thoroughly Machiavellian with the end justifying the means — but the ends are narcissistically focused.

Sound like anyone you know?

The latest revelations about the Abbott Government’s manipulation, deceit and lies have led me to wonder: is Prime Minister Abbott incapable of human feeling?

Previously I have asked questions in IA about Abbott and his team — concerning idiocy, insincerity, and being a headless chook.

The latest revelations − I mean allegations − of blatant lies regarding the Government have led me to confront, a profoundly serious fear — a scarily looming terror.

No, it’s not the Joe Hockey fictional budget crisis.

What is keeping me awake at night is the following nagging thought:

“What if Prime Minister Tony Abbott just a psychopath?”

Surrounding himself with like-minded ministers advisors and old cronies, Abbott is forging his way towards his version of a small government free market quasi neo conservative nirvana. Continue reading
