Healing From Complex Trauma & PTSD/CPTSD

A journey to healing from complex trauma.

I cannot praise God enough….for Pope Francis. The world needs to take note of a ‘real’ Christian.

Pope Francis – totally right….again! Freedom of expression, should not be about insulting, mocking, hatred, satire, sarcasm…

I really love this man, and I don’t even know him.

I just feel it.

Feel this pull towards him and what he speaks of.

I would truly love to spend time with him.

And I am aware this is a spiritual need and no doubt because I never had a healthy father figure and he is so wise.

I know I am drawn to older people…and now it is about seeking their wisdom, learning how they think, how they interact and mostly what they can teach me that God wants me to know and learn.

Makes me really smile, to see the comments about Pope Francis….

Pope Francis, is making a difference, there is no denying that.

When atheists and secular society are stating how much respect they have for him……..that is huge!

And ‘this’ is what Christianity should be taking note of………how he is gaining the respect of non Christians, and the GOOD this does.

All these hard line, Bible thumping, right wing, conservative ‘Christians’………….you ARE doing more harm than good……and you ARE deceived into believing what you are doing is good. It isn’t.

I fully admit, I have had little respect for the Catholic denomination, due to the people I have seen who claim to be Catholic Christians – Cardinal Pell – former head of the Catholic church being a prime example. He is NOTHING like Pope Francis.

So, I am very hopeful Pope Francis continues to shine as a far more ‘Jesus’ example, than many who claim to be Christians.

Pope Francis, is one of the biggest hopes for Christianity, we have.

I too slam capitalism…..I am in agreeement so far with everything the Pope speaks of.

In an interview with Italy’s Sunday morning paper, La Stampa, Pope Francis, champion of the poor and middle class, slams capitalism and his haters like never before, saying that taking a stand against the world’s growing crony capitalism isn’t “pauperism,” but rather the message of Jesus.

“Jesus affirms that you cannot serve two masters, God and wealth. Is it pauperism? Jesus tells us that it is the ‘protocol’ on the basis of which we will be judged, it is what we read in Chapter 25 of Matthew: I had hunger, I had thirst, I was in prison, I was sick, I was naked and you helped me: dressed me, visited me, you took care of me.”

“This is the touchstone. Is it pauperism? No, it is the Gospel. The Gospel message is a message open to all. The Gospel does not condemn the rich but idolatry of wealth, that idolatry that renders [us] insensitive to the cries of the poor.”

So, to any confused bible-thumping conservatives out there who might be reading this, let me put it in layman’s terms: worshiping money that crushes 99% of the world and sends hoards of people into abject poverty is bad and extremely anti-Jesus. If someone who is actually a true man of God (or even if they aren’t) talks about it and speaks out against it, they are not a Marxist communist, socialist, redistributionist who hates personal gain and competition. Just don’t be a selfish, greedy jerk.

According to the National Catholic Reporter, this interview, as well as a few others Francis has given over the course of his papacy regarding capitalism, will be transformed into a book by two La Stampa‘s Vatican reporters, Andrea Tornielli and Giacomo Galeazzi.

Glad the Pope has the guts to say all fundamentalist churches, are no better than ISIS.

I am definitely liking Pope Francis, more and more.

I believe all very right wing, conservative, fundamentalist churches/church people, are actually not of Christ at all, and do more damage to Christianity and how secular society view God….than atheists.

They are often very abusive in their views and push people away from Christ.

Which is Satan’s work and they follow that path, not the path with Christ.

They won’t ‘hear’ that of course.
